ART MAJORS ORGANIZATION ZINE
Pgs. 14-15 of Issue II featuring artist David Nasca's work.
HOW IT STARTED

The Art Majors Organization was confronted with declining membership and barriers to programming that were exasperated when the COVID-19 pandemic began. The Fine Art Department became fractured and uninspired, fatal ailments to an artistic community. Similarly, The AMO became dormant despite consistent funding by the university.
In response, I decided it was best to completely re-structure the AMO's programming towards digital and analog publication and mentorship to create a system of support.

I took on content acquisition, formatting, color correction for print, design, proofing, and distribution for Issues I & II.
Under my leadership, the first ever AMO ZINE was published in 2020. Club membership rose from 4 to 56 active participants. Today, the club continues to produce new issues and is partnering with Cornell's library system to establish an official archive.
